OK, OK, So I'm slack and haven't written here for ages. *pouts*
I'm currently annoyed at Telstra, some lady there rang me up, woke me up, and tried to talk me into saying yes to some new fangled 12 month contract that would suit my call usage better, and save money and stuff. All well and good except that I hate my phone with a passion and want to be rid of it as soon as humanly possible... She's ringing me back tomorrow, after I've spoken to my father who's name it's in.
I finally have a bike again, look out Brisbane roads! I'm just unfit as hell and go slowly, not to mention this freebie bike I've got is pretty much a piece of shit.
I had to battle some invading maggots this morning, not fun. Someone (ok, everyone) neglected to empty the bin in the kitchen, and nasties started growing there. I did get a few strange looks from housemates when I started vacuuming at 6am. Everyone should have been up by then anyway! Well, when I was done I sat down and finished off some cold rice I'd had in the fridge. If I think I'm strange, I don't want to know what anyone else thinks.
I'd like to place an official complaint with Sick. Those beavers still haven't arrived yet, I've been waiting rather impatiently for them to arrive, and they're still not here. I won't be left with much time to wreak havoc upon the walls here before I head back to Mackay. Which, now that I mention it, is leaving here Saturday week (the 7th), and getting there Sunday week (the 8th). Somewhere I went on my travels yesterday.
Golf is most definitely not a sport, hell, I'm not even sure it should be classed as a game. Probably closer to a torture inflicted upon those who get addicted to it!

I'm home. And free. Finished uni for the year. Rachael got to meet my parents - I don't think they scared her too much. Anyway, I'm supposed to learn how to play golf, at least partially. Could be dangerous. Could be very dangerous.
Yes Elise, "shat" is now a word. Hey, why not?
Rachael's Dad hit me with a golf ball on Sunday. I don't think he meant to. At least, he says he didn't mean to.

Damn you Elise and Damo. I still have one exam left. On Thursday. And the beavers have been sent, but with them, who knows how long it will take them to get there.
Okay Elise, lets go for a swim. This afternoon. 3pm my time.
Oh well, I suppose I should go study.
*slouches off, grumbling*

I am free!
I did fail another exam, but never mind that, FREEEEEE.
*spins around and few times*
Sounds like Elise has gone a little crazy too :)
Oh, and I want some beavers! To rain chaos upon the streets of Brisbane (even though there's plenty of that already with the rain today, stupid people who can't drive in the wet!)

Hey Zoe, surely they don't expect you to promote something you're not allowed to "sample"? Generously sample, that is. And I'm not freaking out about exams!! Because I only need, like, 35% on my remaining ones to pass the subject. It's called procrastination, and it goes to a whole new level once you go to university. If only they could harnes the energy that is used as a result of procrastination.... hey, no, that defeats the purpose of aforementioned procrastination.
Damo (and anyone else who cares), I'm going home on the, ah, well, about the end of November (28th ish?). And I think I'll be there for most of the 3 months. Sleeping, and doing as little else as possible, unless it involves me being handed wads of cash. But at this stage it looks like I'll be there when you are, so let me know when you know when you're going back.
Elise, I think you're conscience is getting the better of you. Hit it with a hammer. Think: I am evil Homer, I am evil Homer. Actually, it's probably because you don't really want to quit that much, but you know that your other job option is better, or something like that. Hey, I'm doing engineering, not psychlogy.
I don't think I did actually fail that exam. Which is probably not good, considering that I'll need the luck I've just used up to get through my other two exams. Oh well, must go study. Or procrastinate elsewhere.
*oozes out the door*

Now it's my turn to be sitting around at uni waiting for an exam and decide to post something, while lamenting the decision not to eat more before I left home! I'm in the general library lab, it's just about empty! Funny thing considering what time it is. I got up way too early this morning, about 3:30 or so, and sat around at home for a while actually reading over notes, I don't believe it myself. Came into the city a bit after 6, and wandered around for a while, and there's still an hour left until my exam, the sleepy feeling floating around my eyes is probably not a good sign going into a 3 hour exam, luckily though this one shouldn't be too bad.
Oooh, big scary message booming around, they're about to test the fire alarm, and we're supposed to disregard it. The scariest thing is how excited about it I am.
Hehe, an xbox would be rather funky *jealous eyes*.
That was the most disappointing alarm test I've ever experienced! Stupid Heads!
Waifs cool *bump*. I'm pissed off that I forgot to listen to their live at the wireless set on Monday night, I'd love to see them live!
I should probably head off some time soon. Find something healthy like to eat, fruit or something. I can't wait for these exams to be over, I've been nothing but a bundle of misery lately, it's terrible!

That is so totally and utterly not fair, being able to go into an exam having already passed the subject! My two remaining exams are worth 85% and 70%, and are most definitely needed to pass the subject.
I couldn't be a promo girl not for my sake, but for the sake of all those around me. It'd probably be fun once though, *chuckles*. Continuing that thought I've reached the opinion that Damien has definitely lost his mind, or at least control of it.
That's a nasty evil sounding sort of word, kindness and goodness? BLEH!
I've thoroughly wasted the whole weekend, was actually planning on studying, but started a good book last night when I was feeling down, and haven't done anything else until about 15 minutes ago when I finished it. I should go and have lunch!
Anthony! What are you doing over the summer holidays, surely not heading back to Mackay for the whole time, not with a gf to contend with. I need to work out when I'm going to be back in Mackay, and it's not at all easy. My plans at the moment are something like head back up some time in the first two weeks of December, and come back down here some time between Christmas and New Year. The big question is, where is New Years Eve going to suck less, here, or in Mackay. At the moment I'm leaning towards in Mackay.

Bah. Humbug. Well, I'm probably going to fail my exam tomorrow. Which is okay, considering that I've already passed the subject, and they're going to adjust the cutoffs so that some people actually get decent marks.
Yes, and other than that I've been doing nothing. Damo, I'd be interested to see you in a promo girl outfit. Photographic evidence would be required. Just to bring out again when you turn 21, or any other time it could be used to embarass you.
And today's word is beneficence: The practice of doing good; active goodness, kindness, or charity; bounty springing from purity and goodness.

I'm about to fall asleep, so all bets are off as to there being any semblance of coherence in this post. *sigh*
That would be really strange Elise, having your father move out.
I wouldn't mind a fridge either, I've got no idea what's going to happen when we have to move from here. Which at a guess could be in January, that'd suck lots.
Hope you were feeling ok this morning Zoe, sounds like a fun night at least. Last night sucked for me, trying to study for an exam I was going to fail anyway, eventually giving in and just sleeping. I did fail the exam this morning, no ifs, buts or maybes. That means I failed the subject, 90% final exams are horrid, evil through and through. I didn't even get to sing "They're going to take me away" afterwards because I was still feeling rather ill.
At least it's a job Zoe, and not something you just do anyway! I'd better not start about me needing a job, I'd never shut up. I don't think I could be a promo girl though :)
ZZZzzzz...

Whoa, Zoe, how much have you had to drink? And how was the head feeling later? As for the coldies, last time I had one the top was, well someone else opened it (licensing laws and all that), but it was the same as always. I think. And I don't like the Commonwealth Bank nearly as much as you do, because they keep taking my money when they shouldn't. Bastards. I'd come to Melbourne, but the bank balance is not nearly healthy enough.
What's this about Ben and Elise moving out? And Elise I hope that things with your Dad aren't too wierd.
I really should have been studying for the last week, but I really haven't done anything. At all. But I really should, because exams are next week. I'm not particularly worried, which is probably a problem. Hell, I only need to pass 2 exams. Oh, and good luck Damo and Elise, for whatever exams you have left.
Connubial: Of or pertaining to marriage, or the marriage state; conjugal; nuptial.
And today's word is circumambient: Surrounding; being on all sides; encompassing. Try to use it inappropriately at least 2.43 times today.

Better make this short.
I'm off to fail an exam he he,
I'm off to fail an exam ho ho, he he, ha ha
After the exam I'll be singing the real lyrics for sure, here for those without a proper edumacation!
Something longer later perhaps.
Oh, and I'd love to come to Melbourne, I've just got no money.
*Bursts into tears over exams, life, the universe, etc, etc*

Oooh, you were ripped off then Anthony! I blame photo's for my not having a soul, little bits have been snatched away, and there's absolutely none left now. Aren't disturbing memories from drinking escapades simply marvelous. :P
Woo, I've been planning on taking out the entire Data Communications department at QUT with the super beavers, I'm sure they'll have a great time.
No, I didn't know that. I don't know anything, at least, I won't when uni is through with me.
Falls asleep and drops into bed. (yes, in that order dammit!)

Actually, it was $1.50 and $2.50 for the beers, but hey. I still had fun, but I'm not sure I want to see some of the photos from that night. The memories are disturbing.
Go Damo. Maybe I'll send you the beavers regardless of uni results. For fixing stuff.
Did you know that an elegiac couple is a dactylic hexameter and pentameter? Whatever that means.

Hmm, haven't quite made it to the shower yet, got more distracted here.
The most obvious thing you'll probably notice, is that I've outsmarted the annoying advertisement we had at the top of the page >:)
You may not have noticed so quickly that the contacts link now goes somewhere. If you don't want your details there, or I've made a mistake, or left something out, or you people who haven't been spotted here for a while, or you've got a funky description of yourself that you want in italics *breathes*. Shout at me or something.
Oh, with a bit of luck I've stopped this page being cached permanently, so hopefully you won't have to hit refresh to see new stuff. If it doesn't work, or is somehow annoying, it's one of those times when you're not to whisper, but to yell.
Goodnight.

It sounds like Anthony was rather set for a fun night on Friday! I'm not incredibly jealous because I'm not fond of either beers or crownies (I didn't dare raise hell and call them the same :)
I was actually planning on studying Friday night, but that idea went all to pieces when a few people came over to drink and watch movies.
Somehow or other the sliding glass door at the front of the house fell out, and got nicely smashed *sigh*
Went down with Emily to Skye's place on Saturday, and beyond everyone's great expectactions, did actually get a fair amount done.
I more than made up for that mistake with Sunday though, completely absolutely no study, or anything remotely resembling it. Easily accomplished by sleeping in until 11:30, and taking another few hours nap in the evening. Funnily enough I don't feel much inclined to sleep now, but I am tired.
Weirdest thing happened to me on the way home on Saturday night. Skye dropped me off at the train station there, I was on my own, Emily had been picked up a few hours by her boyfriend. Walked down to the platform, and over the other side of the tracks, there was a guy lying perpendicular to the edge of the platform, with his head hanging off the edge! Another guy, some friend of his I believe was standing down on the tracks trying to get him to move, but he was passed out, completely. I yelled across to just pull him back out of the way (obvious thing to do wouldn't you think), so he did, and then proceeded to try and wake the other guy up, shouting, dragging, shoe slapping next to his head, all to no avail. My train came up again, and I was plenty happy enough to get out of there.
Might go and stand under of that watery stuff that comes out of the shower for a while, not that it'll help sleep, but it sounds like a nice idea.
Ciao!

Ben, you have no excuse not to be writing here. So you shan't be forgiven until your post rate here increases to an acceptable level. Are Damo and I the only uni students on here who are attempting to avoid work? Though I've finished all of mine, until exams. So now I'm going to a Pig-on-a-Spit, with $1 beers and $2 crownies. I do rather like our Chem Eng students society.
Yes, well, I'm off to have fun. Welcome to paradise. Have a good time now.
