Thinking some more, this being mostly for Zoe. Have you seen the Transinfo website? It's an absolute gem for managing public transport around the Brisbane area, just punch in where you're going from, where you're going to, and when, and it'll tell you exactly how to do it.
I don't know exactly where you live, but it looks like it might be possible for you to get home after the Big Gig anyway.

Zoe, it's probably too late now, but if you can get to the Big Gig, you're welcome to crash at my place for the night. If you wanted to and felt comfortable doing that...
If pizza just made you sick, why would you want another one? I don't really understand sorry. :)
I started back on uni on Tuesday, and it hasn't gone too bad so far. Except for possibly last night, a lecture from 8-10pm really sucks. I just about fell asleep, and didn't hear anything anyone was I was half awake.
Managed to get a flat tire on my bike on Tuesday on the way to uni, ended up walking for half an hour, when it usually only takes me 25 minutes total to ride. Aaah well, I was still there on time, the wonders of planning to be early, which is so not like me it's not funny.
Monday even was even more 'interesting', I was involved in something of a car accident. A lady in a silly little Toyota Echo pulled out in front of a mate's 180sx. In the rain, and rush hour traffic, it wasn't fun. Both cars got towed away, and I was stuck catching the train home. At least no-one was hurt.
This is probably more than long enough for now.

Whoops, didn't see your post there last night Zoe. Sorry. Sounds like the guy you nanny for is rather annoying, at the least :(
The landlord called this morning, and he's not coming to do an inspection until next Sunday, which was absolutely gorgeous news, and everyone rejoiced.
mmm, 3 meals a day is the aim for today

I woke up this afternoon and my pillow was red. I was far too tired last night to wash the crappy colouring out of my hair.
It's been far to long since I've written anything on here, so so slack.
Uni starts for me on Tuesday, and I'm not even nearly looking forward to it. Have to work out some way to make me work.
Zoe, if you're listening, can you get back to me some time on whether you can make it to "The Big Gig" please. Tickets don't go on sale until Monday...
We've got the landlord coming today, at about 2pm. So we need to clean the house. Worst of all is the yard, the 'lawn' is about 30-50cm of thick grass. Hopefully it won't be raining and we can get something done about it.
Some tool kicked over our letter box on Friday, I'd love to find out who it was, and exact and appropriate revenge, but I doubt we'll ever know.
I'm about ready to keel over off my chair, so I might go and fall asleep somewhere slightly more comfortable.
Bye!

*yawn*
I think I need more sleep. Waking up at 3:30am is a bad idea, so is 6am for that matter. Which explains why I'm taping the Hottest 100 on Rage, rather than staying up watching it.
I'm sick of bubblewrap. Sure, it's fun. Except when you get to destroy about 7 kilometres of the stuff. Which was basically the story of my day. But I got fed steak and beer, so it's all good.
Good-oh Zoh. You should have Damo's number, if I did everything right. Only 5 days until I leave Mackay! Not that I'm counting. Then the fun and frivolity can continue.
And Warney got busted. And the ACB are going to nail his rear end to the wall. Speaking of cricket, I'm going to go eat fish and chips, then watch the World Cup.

Elise, because if I don't earn money, then I can't do fun stuff. Like see bands and eat icecream. Tempting idea actually, now that you mention it. Maybe if I get organised.
What's wrong with QLD Zoe? Sure, it's not as much fun as Melbourne, but it's not that bad. Oh, and come to the UQ Big Gig with me and Damo. February 28th, $20 presold tickets, Motor Ace, Waikiki, Screamfeeder, Daisycutters, Endorphin, Kid Kenobi, and a bunch of others. Get Damo to get your ticket, cos he's got to get ours too.
Where are those flaws? The US is going to take over Iraq anyway, so they may as well do it with less people killed. Casualties of indifference is so accurate. Australia - the apathetic country. Though I don't think it's just us.
What on earth are pilates?

Greetings, Earthlings. Well, the last week has been fun, or most of it, anyway. My brother no longer inhabits this residence - I get a whole month without him. Saw Rach a bit, went to Townsville, caught a cold, and got paid over $1100 for under an hour's work. Actually it was a scholarship for going back to college, but anyway. *grins* Now I've got to see if anyone else wants to pay me money for
Ben, I have no idea when I'll be in Mackay, it all depends on where I get vacation work, and for how long. If they pay me enough, I may be here for 3 months. Though Melbourne for 3 months would probably be more fun. I'll let you know soon after I know, which will probably be in months time.
Zoe, if Dubya gets his way, us and our children will get more oil. Which from what I've been able to tell is the point of the whole exercise. Hey, North Korea have admitted to Weapons They Probably Shouldn't Have, so if it was about weapons, he wouldn't even have to look for them. But, North Korea don't have oil now, do they? No, I'm not cynical. What on earth made you think that? Though personally I prefer "rat" to "weasel" for Howard. Weasel's look cool, and intelligent. Though Howard looks more like a rather disoriented owl most of the time...
