Naw Leesie, I got the "18 Carrot AIH" one, I thought it was cooler (and they had it in my size).

Kids, there's fantastic news: Eels are touring again! October 19 in Brisbane, to be more precise. I'm so going. However, I may have made a mistake... I checked the Ticketek website to see who else was coming to Brisbane. Only to find MxPx and Unwritten Law, plus the Millencolin gig I already knew about. My paycheck is about to disappear in a flurry of concert tickets and band shirts...

I should call my parents, I haven't talked to them in ages. Not because of anything against them, I've just been busy and lazy.

I need a smaller, cheaper digital camera as well, for sneaking into gigs where cameras shouldn't be.

Oh yeah, and Jen, I'm failing too. Concert tickets, climbing gear, AIH shirt. And the temptation to spend more... there's gear I don't own, and so many toys just waiting to be bought...

Aww man, I just want to accumulate stuff!

Oh man, what a big weekend.

Architecture in Helsinki rock my shoes (not just my socks). Work today's a little tricky as a result, but man they were good. Clue to Kalo were pretty good too, but AIH were awesome. I wasn't quite sure how they were going to manage the 8-people-onstage thing, but it was awesome. First time I've seen a band change drummers during a song, too...

Ooh, and I saw the Panics on Saturday, mainly because I knew one of the support bands. I was a little out of it though, so didn't enjoy it as much as I may have (that's what happens when you get up before 6am on a Saturday).

My brother owes me big time - his car got towed, and I had to loan him money to get it back. On a Friday night, for crying out loud. Actually it was the fact that I had to get up damned early that was most annoying.

Entertain me.

Aww Jen, I'm having too much fun spending money! More toys for me!

No tux for the cocktail party. So now I have to find a shirt/tie to go with my boring black suit. Preferably a combination that will attract a comely lass (sorry lads), but maybe that's asking a bit much.

Despite my inherent laziness and distrust of anything that's meant to be good for me (unless it's really fun), I find myself becoming fit. Ish. I have muscle, anyway, and surely that's near enough?

Whoever came up with travel mugs (the ones with the completely closeable lids, that you can just open a little bit, for while you're driving) is a freaking genius. I want to be that smart. Man, thermos + mug, and you don't even have to open the lid. I merely mention this because there's one sitting beside me. The mug that is, not the genius...

First bike injury out of the way! I now have a significant gash on my leg after it tried to argue with a metal pedal (an action known as 'beartrapping', because it looks kinda like it's been caught in a beartrap, just not so bad). Which I then reopened by kicking a stick that I didn't see walking out from climbing.

Man, some days I look at my spending and suspect that I'm single-handedly supporting the economy. Jen, you were right: I just keep buying new accessories for my toys.

I plan on wearing a Phantom tux to a cocktail party. Yeah, you heard me.
