Step Eleventy-Seven in the Nomad's Guide to Procrastination at Work

Damien is safely back in Brisbane after his three week climbing vacation in the Blue Mountains. The location was fantastic, the people were super fun, and the climbing was glorious. Not to mention, nothing really to worry about for three whole weeks!

In other but related news, Damien isn't single at the moment, and doesn't know quite what to make of it. It's only going to be a very short term thing, three days in the Mountains, and about three in Brisbane, spread out over two weeks, between her trip to Victoria, mine to Mackay for Christmas, and then her going back to France.

Overwhelming tiredness this week, from attempting to do too much, leading to achieving almost nothing at all at work. Almost time for me to leave, Damien will have to come in early tomorrow to get caught up a bit before the boss arrives, and then leave early to see his girl.

I've been given an oh-so-subtle hint from my boss about getting my passport... apparently there's a chance I'll get sent to either West Coast USA or some place in the former USSR that I don't think I have right (Tajikistan, I think).

Jen, I've always found being single a way to get the things done that I want to do, though I think that's probably just my bad taste in women showing through. It's a problem when I climb, fire-twirl, and play guitar, but I'm not a complete hippy.

Y'know, more holidays are a necessity in my life. So are more cute girls. 1 week to Christmas, and then I can have both just by lying on a beach worshipping the sun god.

Oh, and happy birthday for a few days ago Zoe!

I am so freaking stoked right now. I've got a mountain of luggage sitting next to me, tickets booked... and one day of work left before I have a week in the Blue Mountains. Bummer, but ah well. Oh, I also have to convince them that the pile of gear in the bottom of my carry-on luggage is safe. I've taken out everything that could be considered dangerous, and put it in my big pack, I'm just trying to keep the weight distribution nice!

Oh, and I don't feel like doing real work today, so I'm doing a pile of documentation. Needs to be done, and means I don't have to think a whole lot.

Zoe, I want to hear much on adventures in the land of the Yanks. Just remember to speak English, not that weird thing they speak over there!

Mini-miao reunion in a week-ish, and there shall be fun.
