Thankyou! I hope the dresses turned out great, it's pretty impressive that you can make them, I can do stuff a little like that but they never quite work.. I have trouble with cutting/sewing straight lines, for a start ^^;

As for me birthday thingo...

My birthday was amazing. This (my 19th birthday) was the best birthday I've ever, ever had.

First I celebrated it with my mum, dad and sister - mum baked a cake that morning for me with this really yummy icing she only makes on special occasions, I haven't tasted it for years ^^

Then I visited my grandparents in the afternoon, and two cousins I haven't seen in years since they live in different states/far out in the coutry respectively. I ate cake, caught up with everybody, it was relaxing.

My parents then drove me to Mike's house, as seeing I wasn't going to have a birthday mike said he'd take me out to town to eat icecream at Baskin's and Robbins ^^

When I walked in the door, I was greeted by exactly 15 of my closest friends wearing 1920s outfits shouting "Surprise!"

I was surprised ^^;

Mike had listened to me when I'd been talking about what kinda party I'd have a few month ago, and he'd made it come true ^_^ I'd said I wouldn't have mninded having a party hosted by a murder mystery theatre group, who would run, odly enough, a murder mystery during your party. I ended up telling everyone I wouldn't have a party because
i) they were too expensive
ii) what with my birthday being right during all our exam weeks, it would be too difficult to organise for me

My friend Amy (the one I threw a surprise party for a few months ago, actually ^^) wrote and ran a 1920s murder mystery herself for me.

There's more details about what happened at the party and stuff on my weblog (I started it about a year before this whole group weblog thing hpapened ^_^;)(http://etchedglass.blogspot.com) and I'll be putting photos up in a few days if all goes well (read: if my computer can handle my new USB card ^^;)

The whole night was amazing, I was overwhelmed. I'm lost for words to describe how happy I felt that night.

Sending my ultra super positive birthday vibes right at ya Zoester, they will combat an evil trying to make your lymph nodes les-than-wonderful *insert psychic power-induced glow around body here*
