Yesterday *sigh*, it just went from bad to worse!
I had my second last assignment of the semester due in, relatively easy 1500 word technical review on a couple of data communications technologies. We were given 8 weeks to do it, I started it yesterday. I spent all day mucking around, doing little bits, but not really getting into it. We had until 9:45pm to submit it, so I finished as good as I could be bothered a bit before 9, and rode into uni. After a few hiccups, I got it in on time.
Early that evening I'd been informed of something of a party going down over the other side of town, that a few people I knew were going to. I set off in that direction on my bicycle, got fairly close, before I just happend to veer in front of a nasty car, that knocked me clean off my bike. I'm basically ok, just some rather nasty bruises and grazes, my bike is rather a mess, I had to carry it to the train station, and then carry it home. The Lady's car I'm pretty sure ended up with a Damo shaped pattern on one side *sigh*. I'm going to be really stiff tomorrow, not looking forward to it one bit. I tried to clean myself off in the shower, but ended up laughing in pain, had to suffice with a damp cloth for my thigh.
Anyway, if this isn't long enough to make you guys feel guilty for not posting here, well, I don't know what is.
Also, I'd like to officially growl at Anthony, for having easy access to a pool, and not taking up the oppurtunity to go swimming :)
