Wowee! I'm finally back in Brisbane, but have been wishing I'd stayed in Mackay a bit longer. Haven't had too brilliant a time since getting back, therefore it can only get better... right? Had a fairly miserly NYE, didn't see a single soul that I knew after about 6pm. Ended up riding into the city to see the fireworks, which were rather cool, but it was also rather lonely like, as crazy as that may sound for someone surrounded by hundreds of thousands of people.
The Internet at home is dead, cable modem has kicked the bucket. There's a tech goon coming out to look at it Tuesday morning, and if it's covered by warranty it won't be too expensive, but if it's not (like he works out it was caused by a stupid storm [mmm, alliteration {double mmm, multi-level brackets}]) it is expensive. *crosses fingers* So I'm sitting in a computer lab at uni hammering this out. Riding around at night is great, and cool, just bad when I get deja vu of cars coming up behind me.
Oooh, Scarborough isn't so very far away at all, I used to have an uncle there, but heard last night that he's since moved, to I can't for the life of me remember where. I shall certainly have to pay you a visit.
I'm fairly sure I never have had anything remotely resembling wisdom, and losing the teeth by that name just puts a final end to any pretending that there was some. I'm slightly worried about my gum now, there's still some stiches hanging out of it, that just refuse to go away, and I think it's a little swollen, not very tasty.
Can I throw in a hypothesis that Jen's been very busy taking over a small country lately? So she hasn't had time to post anything here... Ok, Ok, so maybe it's actually a planet.
I wanna go to Elise's birthday party! But it's a bit far away, *sobs*. Oh, and I might mention that next Friday is actually the 10th. :P
I need to post more often so that I don't drag on so much, sorry guys
