Oh noes! You've found out that I'm lazy!! :O
It's true :(
Seeing as how, once again, I have no idea when I last posted, or what's happened since then, there's probably a fair bit to say.
Back in Brisbane, but you probably know that. Was getting the dole, centrelink was crap, and made me to go a Work For the Dole (WFD) thingy, that was rather icky. My unbounded hatred of MS Publisher made it so. Before the WFD, I did have an interview for a job, that sounded okay, and interview went well, but I didn't get it.
Two months later, same guy from interview, called me back in because the dude they had hired had left. A second interview later, and I'm now employed!
Working casual 4 days a week at Queensland Institute of Medical Research, bashing away at some crazy Java (equals Death) Database (I know nothing!) for tracking lots of information and bio specimens for a few cancer studies. Into my third week now, and things are getting a little better.
Well... things at work are a little better, things in my body, are hating me. After eating way too much on Sunday, and sitting outside Sunday evening, a nasty sore throat and running nose came about. Sort of better today, but not much sleep last night. Got to work even later today, after sleeping in, being really slow getting ready, taking library books back, buying fruit, and buying a new bike helmet. I'm not sure if my crusty old helmet is in Anthony's car, or lying on the ground near Urban Climb.
More than an hour at work, and I've read a lot, but not really done anything. I might just hit Publish, and be done with it.
